Multi-Modality Fiducial Markers

Product Numbers: MM3002-10, MM3002

When performing navigation procedures, the surgeon needs a method to correlate the patient in the OR to the pre-operative images loaded onto the navigation software. This process is called registration and the Multi-Modality Markers are used for this process.

The fiduciary marker is placed on the patient’s skin to facilitate localizing and documenting the precise superimposition of imaging data from CT, MRI, and other sources. About 8-10 markers are strategically placed on the patient prior to scans.
