Our innovative product design improves transjugular liver biopsy by addressing the challenges facing Interventional Radiologists. The TLAB® ergonomic directional handle provides excellent control and comfort to improve access, while the safety guide reduces the chance for accidental needle sticks in a known high–risk environment.

Our patented Flexcore® technology maximizes specimen yield of complete portal tracts, even after multiple firings. The tissue swabs ensure specimens are delicately and safely removed from the sample notch without compromising sample integrity or physician safety.

• Red–to–red alignment puts notch at apex of the curved 7 fr introducer for optimal samples. The needle is inserted hub to hub to reduce kick–back and to ensure notch is fully exposed prior to firing.
• The hemostasis valve with safety guide is designed for easy needle insertion and protection from blood leaking out.
• The marker band on the needle indicates when the tip is about to exit the introducer system, which reduces fluoroscopy time to confirm the needle location.
• The access system is designed to accommodate the various individual techniques used in transjugular liver biopsy. The two 5 fr catheters and the 7 fr sheath each have a radiopaque tip for maximum visibility and versatility.
